Consequences of progress, remnants for the future, 2019
This limited edition series, comprising six individual giclée prints on Hahnemüle Photorag, documents a series experimental works in salt, ceramic, clay and steel. These works were made in preparation for the show ‘Ruth Barker & Hannah Leighton-Boyce’ at Castlefield Gallery (Manchester) in 2018. The print edition was shown when the exhibition toured to Glasgow Women’s Library in 2019 and the first edition is held in The University of Salford Art Collection.

The Event of the Thread book, 2015
The artist book provides an overview of the project The Event of the Thread. It includes an essay ‘To be Helmshore – Navigating the Undercurrents of Landscape and History’ by Dani Abulhawa discussing the historic background to the project and the unravelling of the live event and extracts of a conversation between Paulette Terry Brien (Director, The Grundy) and Hannah Leighton-Boyce. Photographs of the live sculpture, archive images and maps accompany the text.
Instruments of Industry, 2017
The first in the Industrial Folklore series released on Folklore Tapes, this 10-inch vinyl is a document of an audio installation and ‘library’ of original recordings from the exhibition Instruments of Industry at Touchstones Art Gallery in 2016. The limited-edition record also contains a twelve-page full-colour booklet containing drawings, introduction by Mary Stark and an essay by Dr Laura Mansfield.
